Resort Accommodation on the island of Tanna

One of the main tourist attractions of Vanuatu's Tanna island is the active volcano known as Mount Yasur. Vanair, the country's domestic airline runs regular daily flights to and from the capital of Port Vila, bringing many tourists to the island to see this natural and awe-inspiring volcano. The island is relaxed and laid-back and the main towns are Lenakel and Isangel. There are few upmarket lodgings, most being guest houses. However, the White Grass ocean Resort is a stylish option located on the western coastline near the airstrip. Another luxury resort and theme park - Mantanna Marae - is under construction.
